1996 Mazda MX-5 Miata

The car has averaged right around 4400 miles per year, that's really low considering most drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. I have had several Miatas, but it's hard to find one that has not been modified for racing. So im glad to have this clean non modified example for sale. The timing belt was replaced at 57,700 miles and the car has the factory limited slip differential. Mechanically the car runs great. It starts right up and idles very smooth when in neutral. Accelerates without any hesitation and the engine does not make any abnormal noises during acceleration or at idle ( no ticking or knocking ). The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues and the clutch feels good with no issues. The streering is nice and tight with no abnormal play, and the suspension makes no abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. This is a very well kept Miata and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. The car was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all condition of the paint is in excellent shape with no rust or clear coat issues. The convertible top looks great and has no rips or tears. It also has a tonneau cover for the convertible top. Interior is very clean with no unusual wear on the leather seats, there are no stains on the carpet either. The AC and heat works great, power windows work, power mirrors work, cruise works just like it should, brake lights & turn signals work and so does the stereo. Within the last 10 miles i had the car fully inspected and serviced. The engine and transmission do not have any mechanical issues or oil leaks. The oil sticker had 1000 miles left until the next oil change but I had him replaced the oil & filter anyway, all other maintenance was up to date. The car also comes with a nationwide warranty at no cost. The car needs no maintenance other than a oil/filter change in 3000 miles. You are welcome to call the mechanic that did the inspection. If you would like to have the car inspected by your own mechanic before you purchase, you are welcome to do that as well.
