The truck has averaged right around 5,100 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The truck was more then likely garage kept because the paint has a nice deep gloss to it. The frame is very clean with no rust ( see pictures ), and the interior is clean with no stains on the seats & carpet, there are no unusual odors in the vehicle either. Mechanically the truck is in great shape, I drove it for 50 miles and it and it runs & drives very good. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all the gears with no issues. It drives smooth at highway speeds (65-70 mph) with no unusual noises or vibrations and it does great in town. It's just a well kept truck and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles i had it fully inspected and serviced by a GM mechanic. He put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission & rear differential and they were both full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter and all other maintenance was up to date. The AC is cold and heat works great, cruise control works and so does the radio and CD player. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle and it comes with a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. These Vortec 4.3L V6 engines are good for a long time, I have seen many with around 200,000 miles still in good running condition, this one has 77,000 orig miles and a lot of life left.
