1998 Lincoln Navigator

This is a very clean low mileage 1998 Lincoln Navigator 4wd with 70,588 miles. The vehicle has averaged right around 5300 miles per year, that's really low considering most average drivers put 12000-15000 miles per year on a vehicle. Within the last couple days I had the car inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. He inspected it and told me its a very solid vehicle. He put it up on the lift and inspected the undercarriage (bottom of engine and transmission) and there was no fluid leaks. He checked the fluid level and condition of the transfer case, transmission, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. He took it for a test drive and the engine & transmission operates without any issues. He replace the engine oil & filter, all other maintenance was up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. Mechanically I normally have my vehicles for about a week before I put them up for sale. This allows me enough time to drive every single vehicle for a couple days before I get them serviced. I like doing this because it gives me a great idea on the mechanical / cosmetic condition of the car. I put approx 60 miles on the Navigator and it drives great, it rides like a luxury car and feels great on the highway. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up, idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "jerking". The engine tempeture stays right under the half way mark (normal operating temp) and does not go above that even when stopped at a stop light. The steering feels good with no abnormal play, and no shakes at highway speeds. There are no mechanical issues with the Lincoln at all and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip. If you look around on the internet, you will see that these 5.4L V8 engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 180,000 miles and are still in excellent condition. A good friend of mine used to have a Ford F-150 with the same 5.4L V8, his truck had 240,000 still running great. This one has right around 70,000 so it still has a lot of life left. The 5.4L V8 engine has been around for a long time. It's more then likely the best V8 engine Ford has ever made. They put this engine in the Expedition, Excursion, F-150, F-250 and several other vehicles. They even put the same exact engine in some of their brand new 2011 Navigators, Expeditions and F-150 trucks, so needless to say its a very durable engine. Electrical The AC and heat works great, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power seat works, power door locks work, rear air works and so does the radio. Exterior The Navigator was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in near new condition with no clear coat or rust issues.
