1999 Chevrolet Astro

I have a clean 1999 Chevy Astro van Cobra Conversion with 58,000 miles for sale. The van has averaged right around 4800 miles per year, that's really good considering most average drivers put 15000 miles per year on a vehicle. The van runs and drives excellent, it feels great on the highway and does great in town as well. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up, idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues, it doesn't "clunk" or shift in to gear hard. At highway speeds (65-70 mph) the van feels solid and not all over the road. There are no abnormal vibrations at highway speeds and highway passing gear is great with no abnormal "clunk" or hesitation. I wouldnt hesitate to take this van on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles I had the van fully inspected and serviced. The mechanic put it up on the lift and inspected the undercarriage (bottom of engine and transmission) and there was no fluid leaks. He checked the fluid level and condition of the transmission & rear differential and they were both full and clean. He took it for a test drive and the engine & transmission operates without any issues. He replace the engine oil & filter, tie rod ends and all other maintenance was up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. If you do a internet search on these vans, you will see that these 4.3L Vortec V6 engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 200.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 250.000 miles range still running great. A good friend of mine had a 1997 Chevy Astrovan with 220,000 miles still running great. This one has has right around 58,000 miles so it still has a lot of life left. The A/C and heat works great, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power door locks work, rear A/C works, rear heat works and so does the radio. Exterior condition of the van is great. It was well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in great condition with no clear coat or rust issues. It was more then likely kept in the garage because the paint has a very deep gloss to it. The interior is very clean with no stains or abnromal odors, seats and carpet look great with no rips or tears. This would make someone a great family van or daily driver.
