The car has averaged right around 4500 miles per year, that's really low considering most drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The car was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all condition of the paint is in excellent shape with a very deep gloss. The interior is clean with no stains on the seats or carpet (non smoker). Mechanically the car runs and drives great. It feels very solid at highway speeds (65-70 mph) and in town driving is great as well. The car starts right up and idles very smooth when in park. It accelerates without any hesitation or jerking and the automatic transmission shifts very smooth through all gears with no issues. The streering feels tight with no abnormal play and so does the suspension. The AC and heat works great, power windows work, power mirrors work, cruise works just like it should, rear defroster works, brake lights & turn signals work and so does the stereo & power antenna. This is a very well maintained Miata and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. There are several service records available with the car all adding up to $3400. Brakes, tires, oil changes and a new OEM catalytic converter installed at the Mazda dealer. The most most important maintenance was done at 50,000 miles. I have the receipt showing $1758 worth of preventive maintenance done at the Mazda dealer, here is what was done: Timing belt replaced, Drive belts replaced, New coil & spark plug wires, Transmission fluid flushed & changed, Brake fluid flushed & changed, Differential fluid flushed & changed, Four tires mounted and balanced, Four wheel alignment performed, Fuel system cleaned & serviced.
