1999 Subaru Forester L

This is a clean 1999 Subaru Forester-L AWD with 74035 miles. The vehicle has averaged right around 6200 miles per year, that's really low considering most average drivers put 15000 miles per year on a vehicle. This is a great little car that runs and drives great. Would make someone a great family vehicle or a great winter vehicle with the all wheel drive system. The steering feels great with no abnormal play at highway speeds (65-70 mph) and the engine does not make any abnormal noises. It starts right up, idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal noises. There are no mechanical issues with the car at all and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. I just had the car fully inspected and serviced, the mechanic inspected it and told me its a very solid vehicle. He put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the fluid level and condition of the transmission, transfer case, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter and all other maintenance is up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. If you do a internet search on these Subarus, you will see that these 2.5L "flat" 4 engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 180.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 230.000 miles range still running great. This one has has right around 74,000 miles so it still has alot of life left. The AC and heat works great, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power door locks work and so does the radio. The car was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in great shape considering it's a 1999. It looks like the vehicle was garage kept because the paint has a deep gloss to it. Financing is available and we do take trade's.
