The Jeep has has averaged right around 3,400 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The exterior is in great shape with a deep glossy shine to the paint, there is no clear coat issues or rust anywhere on the truck. When the Jeep was purchased back in 2000, the previous owner took it to Ziebart and had it undercoated, the undercarriage & frame is very clean ( see pictures ). The interior is clean with no unusual stains on the carpet or seats and there are no odors in the vehicle either ( non smoker ). Mechanically the Jeep is in great shape. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates smooth and shifts smooth through all gears with no unusual noises. It drives nice at highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) with no abnormal vibrations or noises and it drives great in town. He put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission ( no oil or coolant leaks ). He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer case, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. He replaced the engine oil & filter, replaced the axle U-Joins, replaced the shocks that hold the rear hatch open and all other maintenance was up to date, the Jeep also comes with a nationwide warranty at no cost. If you do a internet search on these Cherokees, you will see that these 4.0L inline 6 engines are pretty much bulletproof and have a huge customer following. A lot of these have north of 150.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200.000 miles range still running great. This one has has 45,000 original miles and a lot of life left. It's hard to find these Cherokees with low miles and a 1 owner accident free history, so we are glad to have this one for your consideration.
