The car has averaged right around 9,900 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 to 20,000 miles per year on these diesel Volkswagen's. The previous owner took very good care of the car and it shows, the paint is in great shape with a nice & deep glossy shine, there are no clear coat issues or rust anywhere on the car and the under-carriage is as clean as the rest of the vehicle. The interior is clean with no stains or unusual wear on the front & rear seats, the carpet is clean and there are no odors in the vehicle either ( non smoker ). The car was very well maintained and we have nearly all service records for the vehicle. I drove the VW and put around 50 miles on it and mechanically it's in excellent shape. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all 5 gears with no issues. At highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) the car drives down the road straight with no unusual noises or vibrations and it does great around town. It's just a well kept vehicle and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it Florida and back. The carfax report is also available showing no accidents on the history, if you want a copy of it just let us know. The car has some nice options and here are a few: 1.9L 4-cylinder Turbo charged Diesel engine, Heated seats, Power sunroof, ABS brakes, Key-less entry, Front wheel drive, Rear folding seats for more trunk space, Power windows, Power locks, Power mirrors, Cruise control and more. Within the last 10 miles I had the car fully inspected and serviced by a ASE certified mechanic. He put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission ( no fluid leaks ). He replace the timing belt along with a new water pump, new thermostat and new rollers. He also replaced the oil with Shell Rotella T6 synthetic 5w40 & replaced the oil filter. Everything else was up to date and the car comes with a $0 deductible nation wide warranty at no cost. I saved the paperwork of the service work that was done so the next owner can keep it for their records. The Volkswagen TDI 1.9L turbo diesel engine is more then likely the best 4 cylinder engine ever made. If you do a google search online you will find some great reviews, these cars have a huge following because of the excellent fuel mileage, reliability & low maintenance cost. They get close to 40 mpg's in town and over 50 mpg's on the highway ( 700 miles on 1 tank of fuel ). A lot of these have well over 250,000 miles still in great running condition, I have personally seen them with over 300,000 still running great, this one has right around 139,000 miles and a lot of life left. If you are looking for very reliable daily driver that has very low total ownership cost ( gas, maintenance & insurance ), this would make you a great vehicle for the next 100,000 ( or more ) miles.
