2001 Dodge Stratus R/T

This is a really nice and clean 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T coupe with 75,060 miles. It has averaged right around 8300 miles per year. That's pretty low considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. Within the last couple miles I had the car inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. He inspected it and told me its a very solid car. He looked it over and took it for a test drive, it did not need brakes and the engine and transmission did not have any issues. He checked the condition and oil level of the transmission and it was full and clean. He replaced the engine oil and filter, the motor mounts and also replaced a oxygen sensor. The stereo was not working so he replaced the amplifier and it is now working great. There are no mechanical issues with the Stratus so I am including a nation wide warranty at no additional cost. You are also welcome to have it inspected by your own mechanic. Mechanically I usually have my vehicles for a week or two before I list them on the internet. This give me enough time to personally drive them for 3-5 days to get a good feel for the car. Once im done driving the car my mechanic gets the vehicle for the inspection/service. I put about 60 miles on this car and it drives great. 40 miles was highway driving and at highway speeds (65-70 mph), the car feels very solid. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up and idles very smooth when in park. It accelerates without any hesitation or jerking and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. Highway passing gear is also smooth with no abnormal "clunk" when down shifting. The steering feels very good while driving in town. It feels nice and firm with no excessive steering wheel play while making turns. The suspension feels good and does not make any abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It's a well cared for car and I would not hesitate to drive it to Florida and back. These 3.0L V6 engines last a very long time. The engine is made by Mitsubishi and is the same exact engine in the Mitsubishi Eclipse. I have seen a lot of these with close to 200,000 miles still in excellent mechanical condition, this one has right around 75,000 so it still have a lot of life left. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car to Florida and back. Electrical The AC and heat works great, power sunroof works, power seat works, cruise works just like it should, all power windows work and so does the radio. Exterior The car was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. It must have been garage kept bechase the over all paint condition is in excellent shape with no clear coat or rust issues. The paint has a very nice and deep gloss.
