2001 Jeep Cherokee

The Jeep has has averaged right around 7,200 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. Mechanically the Jeep is in great shape, I drove it for about 60 miles and it and it runs & drives very good. It starts right up and idles smooth when in park, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all the gears with no issues. It drives nice at highway speeds (65-70 mph) with no unusual noises or vibrations and it does great in town. The 4x4 works like it should, and the suspension makes no abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It's just a well kept Cherokee and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to Florida and back. Within the last 10 miles I had it fully inspected and serviced by a ASE mechanic. He put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer case, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter and all other maintenance was up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle and it comes with a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. The AC is ice cold and the heater works great, the cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power door locks work, power mirrors work, keyless entry works and so does the radio, all electrical options work like they should. The Jeep was more than likely garage kept and it shows, the paint looks great with a nice deep gloss to it and the undercarriage is very clean ( see pictures ) . Interior is also clean with no unusual stains on the seats & carpet, and there are no odors in the vehicle ( non smoker ). If you do a internet search on these Cherokees, you will see that these 4.0L inline 6 engines are pretty much bulletproof and have a huge customer following. A lot of these have north of 180.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the mid 200.000 mile range still running great. This one has right around 78,000 original miles and a lot of life left, it would make someone a great vehicle for the next 100,000 miles.
