2002 Chevrolet Blazer LS

The vehicle has averaged right around 11,000 miles per year, that's pretty good considering most average drivers put 15,000-18,000 miles per year on a vehicle. Within the last couple days I had the car inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. He inspected it and told me its a very solid vehicle. He put it up on the lift and inspected the undercarriage (bottom of engine and transmission) and there was no fluid leaks. He checked the fluid level and condition of the transfer case, transmission, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. He took it for a test drive and the engine & transmission operates without any issues. He replace the engine oil & filter and the tires have less then 1000 miles on them, all other maintenance is up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. Mechanically I normally have my vehicles for about a week before I put them up for sale. This allows me enough time to drive every single vehicle for a couple days before I get them serviced. I like doing this because it gives me a great idea on the mechanical / cosmetic condition of the car. I put approx 80 miles on the Blazer and it drives great. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up, idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "jerking". The steering feels good with no abnormal play and no shakes at highway speeds. It doesn't ride like a Cadillac because of the factory size 31" tires and offroad suspention, but it does real well considering it's a off road vehicle. There are no mechanical issues with the Blazer at all and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip. If you do a internet search on these, you will see that these 4.3L Vortec V6 engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 180.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200.000 miles range still running great. This one has has right around 93,000 miles so it still has alot of life left. I always buy Blazers, S10 and Sonoma trucks with the 4.3L Vortec V6 because I have never had any problems with them. I have had over 15 of these and they just keep going. They are proven to last and I would rather sell a vehicle with a solid drivetrain reputation then one with a problematic one. The 4.3L Vortec V6 in the truck is a well known engine in the GM line-up, they have had the engine around for close to 20 years. They put this engine in Astro vans, Safari vans, Sonoma trucks, Silverado 1/2 ton work trucks, Sierra 1/2 ton work trucks and some of their other small size GM vehicles. GM even puts the same exact engine in some of the 2010 Chevy and GMC light duty work truck with the V6 option. So needless to say, these are great motors and should last you a long time with regular maintenance. Electrical The AC and heat works great, power sunroof works, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power seat works, power door locks work and so does the radio. Exterior The Blazer was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in great shape considering its a 2002.
