2003 Buick Century

It has averaged right around 6100 miles per year. That's really good considering most average drivers put 15,000-18,000 miles per year on a vehicle. I always try to purchase a lot of Buicks for my inventory because they are normally very well kept vehicles, especially when they have only had 1 prior owner. Most people that buy a Buick always tend to maintain the vehicle by the book, they are not the type of vehicle that get abused or driven hard and are usually garage kept. This one lives up to that example. Within the last couple days I had the car inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. He inspected it and told me its a very solid car. He looked it over and took it for a test drive, it did not need brakes and the engine and transmission did not have any issues. He checked the condition and oil level of the transmission and it was full and clean. He replaced the engine oil and filter, all other service was up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the car so I am including a nation wide warranty at no additional cost. You are also welcome to have it inspected by your own mechanic. Mechanically I normally have my vehicles for about a week before I list them on the internet. This give me enough time to personally drive them for few days to get a good feel for the car. Once im done driving the car my mechanic gets the vehicle for the inspection/service. I put about 40 miles on this car and it drives great. At highway speeds (65-70 mph) the car feels very solid with no abnormal noises or vibrations in the steering wheel. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up and idles very smooth when in park. It accelerates without any hesitation or jerking and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. Highway passing gear is also smooth with no abnormal "clunk" when down shifting. The steering feels very good while driving in town. It feels nice and smooth with no excessive steering wheel play while making turns. The suspension feels good and does not make any abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It's a well cared for car and I would not hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip. These 3.1L V6 engines last a very long time. GM has had that engine around for over 15 years. I have seen a lot of these with close to 200,000 miles still in excellent mechanical condition, this one has right around 43,000 so it still have a lot of life left. GM puts the same exact engine in the, Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevy Malibu and Chevy Impala so needless to say its a great motor. Electrical The AC and heat works great, power seat works, cruise works just like it should, all power windows work and so does the radio. Exterior The car was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. It must have been garage kept bechase the over all paint condition is in great shape with no clear coat or rust issues. The paint has a very nice and deep gloss. The previous owner was an elderly lady so there are a few scuffs and dings from pulling in and out of her garage, nothing major though. Dont hesitate to call or email if you have any questions.
