The truck has 114,432 miles and has averaged right around 9,500 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles a year on a vehicle. The truck was garage kept by the previous owner and it shows, the exterior is in excellent shape considering it's a 2003 model. The paint has a nice and deep glossy shine with no clear coat issues anywhere and the interior is clean with no unusual wear on the front or rear seats leather seats, carpet is clean and there are no odors in the vehicle. Being a SS model, it has every option possible and here are a few: 6.0L Vortec V8, Heated leather seats, Premium 20 inch wheels, Cruise control, Bose sound system, Rhino spray-in bed liner, Power windows, Power locks, Power mirrors, A/C, Keyless entry, ABS brakes and more. I drove the truck and put close to 50 miles on it and mechanically it runs & drives very nice. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. At highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) it drives down the road straight with no unusual noises or vibrations and it does great around town. It's just a well kept truck and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles we had it fully inspected and serviced by a ASE certified repair shop. The mechanic put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer-case, front & rear differential & they were all full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter, replaced the brakes & everything else was up to date. The truck also comes with a $0 deductible nation-wide warranty at no cost. These 6.0L Vortec V8 engines are more than likely the best V8 engine GM ever built. GM uses this engine in all of the 2500HD trucks, in the Pontiac GTO and even in the Corvette. I have seen a lot of these with 250,000 miles and still in good running condition, this one has right around 114,000 miles and a lot of life left with regular oil changes.
