2003 Chevrolet Venture

The vehicle has averaged right around 7800 miles per year, that's really good considering most average drivers put 15,000-18,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The van runs and drives excellent. The steering feels good with no abnormal play at highway speeds (65-70 mph). The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up, idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "jerking". Within the last 10 miles I had the van inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. He put it up on the lift and inspected the undercarriage (bottom of engine and transmission) and there was no fluid leaks. He checked the fluid level and condition of the transmission and it was full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter, the hub bearing and all other maintenance was up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. If you do a internet search on these Venture vans, you will see that the 3.4L V6 engine is good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 150.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200.000 miles range still running great. This one has has right around 45,000 miles so it still has alot of life left. The AC and heat works great, power sliding door works, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power door locks work and so does the radio. The van was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in great shape with no clear coat or rust issues. It was more than likely a garage kept vehicle because the paint has a very deep gloss to it, no prior accidents (carfax available). The interior of the van looks great, no abnormal odors (non smoker) and no stains on any of the seats or carpet. It is a 8 passenger van and all the seats fold down, you can also remove the second and third row seats for more cargo room.
