2003 Jeep Wrangler X

The Jeep has averaged right around 6,800 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. Mechanically the Jeep runs and drives very nice. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates nice and shifts smooth through all 5 gears with no unusual jerking. It drives great at highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) with no vibrations or unusual noises and it drives great in town. The 4x4 works just like it should and the suspension does not make any abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It's just a very well kept Jeep and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles we had the Jeep fully serviced and inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. The technician put it up on a lift and inspected the undercarriage ( no oil or coolant leaks ). He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer-case, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. He replaced the engine oil & filter, replaced the tie rod end, had it aligned and everything else was up to date. The Jeep also has a 3 inch suspension lift with 33 inch tires, all 4 tires look nearly new and even though it has a lift the Jeep drives great with no unusual play in the steering wheel or suspension. There are no mechanical issues with the Jeep and it comes with a zero deductible nation wide warranty at no cost. The previous owner took very good care of the Wrangler and it shows. It was more than likely garage kept because the paint looks great with a deep glossy shine, there is no clear coat issues anywhere on the Jeep and the undercarriage & frame looks great with no corrosion. The interior is also very clean with no unusual stains on the carpet, the seats are clean and there are no odors in the vehicle either ( non smoker ). The Jeep has a hard top that is a 2 piece model, the front part is removable and the hard top is insulated inside, it also has a Alpine CD player with XM radio, Cruise control, A/C & Heat. These 4.0L inline 6-cylinder engines are probably the best 6-cylinder engine every made. Chrylser has had this engine around for over 20 years and used them in all Wrangler 6 cylinder models and Grand Cherokee 6 cylinder models. A lot of these have well over 150,000 miles and still in good running condition, I have personally seen them in the 250,000 mileage range still in good running condition, this one has right around 75,000 miles and a lot of life left. If you have been looking for a clean, low mileage Wrangler with a nice suspension lift , this would be a great choice for you. They are known to last a long time and this would make someone a great vehicle for several more years.
