2003 Pontiac Vibe

The previous owner drove the car 7 hours one way (400 miles) to come and trade with me. He was in his mid 40's and purchased the Vibe brand new in 2003 when it had 12 miles on it. He is a very honest person and told me everything about it, he changed the oil & filter every 3000 miles and did not have one single issue with the vehicle during his ownership. It currently has 107,703 miles. Within the last couple days I had the vehicle inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. He inspected it and told me its a very solid vehicle. He looked it over and took it for a test drive, it did not need brakes and the engine and transmission did not have any mechanical issues. He checked the fluid level and condition of the transmission and it was full and clean. The Vibe was due for a oil change in the next 500 miles so he replaced the oil & filter. He also made a point to tell me that the Vibe was dry underneath with no oil leaks, and the front brake rotors were replaced by the previous owner within 2 months ago. There are absolutely no mechanical issues with the vehicle so I am including a warranty through a nationwide warranty company at no additional cost. This is a $0 deductible coverage good at any repair facility in the U.S. You are welcome to have the truck inspected by you own mechanic as well. Mechanically I personally drive all the vehicles I sell for a few days before I get them serviced and put up for sale. I like doing this because it gives me a good idea on how the vehicle runs and drives. I drove this Vibe over the weekend and put around 50 miles on and it. It drives great on the highway and does great in town as well. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It starts right up every and idles very smooth when in park. The vehicle accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues, it doesn't "clunk" or shift in to gear hard. At highway speeds the vehicle feels very solid and not all over the road. There are no steering wheel vibrations at highway speeds. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "clunk" or hesitation. There are no issues with the Vibe at all and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to Florida and back. These little 1.8L 4-cyl engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 200.000 miles and are still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 250.000 miles range still running great. The 1.8L engine in the Vibe is made by Toyota, its the same engine and transmission they use in the Toyota Matrix. If you do a internet consumer review search on the Toyota Matrix or Pontiac Vibe, you will find some great reviews about the vehicle and several owners reporting over 32 mpg. Electrical The AC and heat works great, cruise control works, power windows work, power door locks work and so does the radio. There are no electrical issues with the truck. Exterior The Vibe was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in great shape with no clear coat or rust issues.
