2004 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sport

Any questions please call 765-456-1788 or send me a email, I normally reply to emails within 10 minutes. This is a very nice 2004 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport coupe with 62,426 miles. The car has averaged right around 10,400 miles per year, that's pretty good considering most average drivers put 15000 miles on a vehicle per year. I always try to buy several Cavaliers because they are very reliable and problem free vehicles. They last a long time with regular oil changes, they are great on gas and maintenance cost is very low. Within the last couple miles I had the Cavalier inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. The mechanic I take my vehicles to has been working on cars for 15 years working for a big new car dealership here in town, he is very good and all my vehicles go to him for the inspection and reconditioning. He has his own ASE certified repair facility and does anything from oil changes to rebuilding engines. He inspected it and told me its a very solid car. He looked it over and took it for a test drive and the engine and transmission did not have any issues. The fluids all looked good but I had him replace the engine oil and filter just to be safe, he also replaced the front and rear brakes. Other then doing your regular oil changes, you do not have to spend any money on this car for quite some time. There are no mechanical issues with the car so I am including a nation wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ) I also have the title free and clear of any liens. Mechanically Even though I get all my vehicles inspected and serviced, I like to personally drive them for a few days just to get a good idea on how they run and drive. I drove this Cavalier for 2 weeks and put around 600 miles on it, the gas mileage is great. Avg close to 34 mpg on the highway and 28-29 in town. I did about 500 miles worth of highway driving and 100 in town driving. The car drives great on the highway with cruise set on 65 mph, no vibration in the wheel and it does not pull to the left or right. The engine does not make any abnormal noises, no ticking or knocking. It idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "jerking". It also has a great set of Pirelli tires that were replaced 4000 miles ago. There are no mechanical issues with this car at all and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to Florida and back. If you look around on ebay or any other car site that has vehicles for sale, you will see that these 2.2L 4-cyl Ecotech engines are good for a long time. A lot of these have north of 200.000 miles and are still in excellent condition. This one has right around 62.000 miles so it still has a lot of life left. The 2.2L ecotech is a well known engine in the GM line-up, they have had the engine around for several years. They put this engine in Pontiac G5, Saturn's, Aleros and some of their other small to mid size GM vehicles. They even put the same exact engine in the new 2010 Chevy Cobalt. Electrical The AC and heat works great, power sunroof works, power windows work, cruise works just like it should and so does the radio. There are no electrical issues with the car. Exterior The car was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. The over all paint condition is in great shape with no clear coat issues or deep scratches. It was more then likely garage kept because the paint has a very nice and deep shine to it. . Thanks for looking and have a great day.
