The truck was purchased new by the previous owner at a Chevy dealer in Avon Indiana. He purchased it in 2004 and paid around $45,000 for the truck, he was the only owner & driver of it up until a few weeks ago when he traded it in for a brand new truck. He took excellent care of the truck and it shows, serviced it on time kept it garaged when not driven. The paint is in excellent shape with a nice and deep glossy shine, the interior is also very nice with no unusual wear on the front seats, rear seats look nearly new and carpet is clean with no stains, there are no odors in the vehicle either ( non smoker ). I drove the truck and put around to 100 miles on it and mechanically it runs & drives very good. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. At highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) the truck drives down the road straight with no unusual noises and it does great around town as well. The all wheel drive works just like it should and the suspension does not make any abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It's just a well kept truck and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles we had it fully inspected and serviced by a ASE certified repair facility. The mechanic put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer-case, front & rear differential & they were all full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter, all 4 tires are nearly new ( Michelin ) everything else was up to date and the truck also comes with a $0 deductible nation-wide warranty at no cost. These 6.0L Vortec V8 engines are more than likely the best V8 engine GM ever built. GM still uses this engine in the brand new 2017 GMC & Chevy trucks. I have personally seen them with 200,000 miles still running great, this one has right around 85,000 original miles and a lot of life left if you keep up with the regular oil changes. The truck has some nice options and here are a few: Heated leather seats, Bose factory premium sound system, Premium 20 inch wheels, Memory driver seat, Lockable rear seat storage compartment, Line X spray in bed-liner, Tow package, Power windows, Power locks, Power mirrors, Cruise control, A/C, Key-less entry, ABS brakes and more.
