The Jeep has averaged right around 8,200 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The Jeep was very well cared for by the previous owner and it definitely shows. It was more then likely garage kept because the paint looks excellent with a nice deep gloss. It does not have any rust on the lower doors, rocker panels or on the frame. The interior is clean with no unusual odors or stains ( non smoker ). Carfax is also available showing the accident free history. Mechanically the Jeep is very solid. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates smooth and shifts smooth through all the gears with no issues. The suspension feels good with no abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road and it drives nice at highway speeds with no vibrations in the steering wheel. A/C and heat both work great and so does the CD player. The 4x4 works just like it should and so does the front and rear lockers. It's just a well kept vehicle and I wouldnt hesitate to take it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles i had the Jeep fully inspected and serviced by a Chrysler mechanic. He inspected it and told me its a very solid vehicle. He put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer case, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. The mechanic replace the engine oil & filter, replaced the wiper blades and replaced the tires. I wanted the original factory replacement tire and not a cheaper off brand, so he replaced them with the Goodyear Wrangler TA tires with Kevlar side wall. The tires cost $220 each and he replaced all four, the spare tire is the same brand and it's never been used. All other maintenance was up to date and the Jeep comes with a nationwide warranty at no cost. These 4.0L engines are very well known, a lot of these have well over 150,000 miles still in great running condition, I have personally seen them in the 200,000 mile range. This one has a lot of life left with only 57,000 miles. If you have been looking for a well kept Rubicon with low miles, this would be a great choice for you.
