2005 Chevrolet Avalanche

The truck has averaged right around 8,600 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. The truck was more then likely garage kept because the paint looks excellent with a very deep gloss to it, there are no clear coat issues or rust anywhere on the truck, undercarriage & frame is also very clean with no rust ( see pictures ). The interior is clean with no stains on the seats & carpet and there are no odors in the vehicle. Mechanically the truck is in very good shape, I drove it for 80 miles and it runs & drives great. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all the gears with no issues. It drives nice at highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) with no unusual noises or vibrations and it does great in town, very comfortable ride on the highway because of the long wheelbase. It's just a well kept vehicle and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it on a 1000 mile round trip. Within the last 10 miles I had it fully inspected and serviced by a GM mechanic. He put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer case, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter, replaced all 4 tires ( Good Year ) and all other maintenance was up to date. The AC is very cold and heat works great, push button 4x4 works just like it should, cruise control works, power windows work, power door locks work, power mirrors work and so does the Bose CD player. All electrical options work just like they should. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle and it comes with a nationwide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. These Vortec 5.3L V8 engines are known to last a very long time, a lot of these have well over 150,000 miles still in good mechanical shape, I have personally seen them in the 200,000 mileage range still running good, this one has a lot of life left with only 68,000 miles.
