2005 Jeep Wrangler

The Jeep has averaged right under 7,000 miles per year, not bad considering most average drivers put 15,000 miles per year on a vehicle. Mechanically the Jeep runs and drives very nice. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates nice and shifts smooth through all 5 gears with no unusual jerking. It drives good at highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) with no unusual noises and it drives nice around town as well. The 4x4 works just like it should and the suspension does not make any abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. It's just a well kept vehicle and I wouldn't hesitate to take it on a 500 mile round trip. The Jeep has a factory hard top, 4.0L Inline 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, full metal doors, CD player, A/C and Heat. It also has a 4 inch suspension lift with 33 inch tires and 15 inch wheels. Within the last 10 miles we had the Jeep fully serviced and inspected by a ASE certified repair facility. The technician put it up on a lift and inspected the undercarriage ( no oil or coolant leaks ). He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission, transfer-case, front & rear differential and they were all full and clean. He replaced the engine oil & filter, replaced all tires and everything else was up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle and it comes with a $0 deductible nation-wide warranty at no cost. The previous owner took very good care of the Wrangler and it shows. It was more than likely garage kept because the paint looks great with a deep glossy shine, there is no clear coat issues anywhere on the Jeep and the undercarriage & frame looks great with no corrosion or rust. The interior is also very clean with no unusual stains on the carpet, the seats are clean and there are no unusual odors either ( non smoker ). These 4.0L inline 6-cylinder engines are probably the best 6-cylinder engine every made. Chrysler has had this engine around for over 20 years and used them in all Wrangler 6 cylinder models and Grand Cherokee 6 cylinder models. A lot of these have well over 150,000 miles and still in good running condition, I have personally seen them in the 250,000 mileage range still in good running condition, this one has right around 69,000 miles and a lot of life left. If you have been looking for a clean, low mileage Wrangler with a nice suspension lift , this would be a great choice for you. They are known to last a long time and this would make someone a great vehicle for several more years.
