2006 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS

I drove the car and put around 50 miles on it and mechanically it's in excellent shape. It starts right up and idles smooth, accelerates without any hesitation and the transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. At highway speeds ( 65-70 mph ) it drives down the road straight with no unusual noises or vibrations and it does great around town. It's just a well kept car and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it Florida and back. Within the last 10 miles we had it fully inspected and serviced by a ASE certified mechanic. He put it up on the lift and inspected the bottom of engine and transmission. He also checked the oil level and condition of the transmission and it was full and clean. He replace the engine oil & filter & everything else was up to date. There are no mechanical issues with the vehicle and it comes with a nation-wide warranty through a warranty company at no additional cost ( $0 deductible ). You are also welcome to have the vehicle inspected by your own mechanic as well. The car was garage kept by the previous owner and it shows, the paint is in excellent shape with a nice & deep glossy shine. It does not have any clear coat issues anywhere and the undercarriage is clean as the exterior is. The interior is also very clean with no unusual wear on the front or rear seats, carpet is clean and there are no odors in the vehicle ( non smoker ). Being a SS package, it has every option possible and here are a few: 303 horse power 5.3L V8 with displacement on demand, the car goes in to 4 cylinder mode on the highway and gets up to 28 mpg and 8 cylinder mode during regular driving, Power sunroof, Heated leather seats, 18 inch premium polished factory wheels, XM radio, Bose sound system, Power seat and more. If you do a Internet search on these 5.3L V8 engines, you will find some great reviews and see that they are good for a long time. GM uses this engine in the Silverado and Sierra trucks, Impala SS models and some of their other larger trucks and vans. So needless to say they are great engines and will last a long time with regular oil changes.
