2009 Ford Ranger

This is a very nice 2009 Ford Ranger Super Cab XLT 4x4 with 18,700 miles. The vehicle has averaged right around 9300 miles per year, that's fairly low considering most average drivers put 15000-18000 miles per year on a vehicle. The truck was just traded in and the previous owner took great care of it. The exterior looks new and so does the interior. There is no damage or paint issues on any panel, no prior bodywork or accidents (carfax available) and the interior is very clean with no stains on seats or carpet. Mechanically the truck runs like a new one. It starts right up, idles very smooth when in park and accelerates without any hesitation or jerking. The transmission shifts very smooth through all the gears with no issues, it doesn't clunk or shift in to gear hard. Highway passing gear is also great with no abnormal "jerking". The 4x4 switch works just like it should and the suspension feels great with no abnormal noises when going over bumps on the road. Within the last 10 miles i had the truck fully serviced and inspected, all maintenance is up to date and the truck is under factory warranty until July 2014. The 4.0L V6 in the truck is a well known engine in the Ford line-up. They have had this engine around for close to 10 years and use it in the Ford Explorer as well. They even puts the same exact engine in the 2011 Ford Ranger. I have seen the Ford vehicles with the 4.0L and over 150,000 miles so needless to say, these are great motors and should last you a long time with regular maintenance. The AC and heat works great, cruise works just like it should, power windows work, power door locks work and so does the radio.
